Unpacking

Unpacking is somewhat more fun than packing. Once you start unpacking in your new home, you need to be careful. Making sure that you do no break anything while unpacking. Another thing that you need to do, is to inspect everything that is breakable, one by one. Check to see if there are any damages on the items your movers have transported to your new home or office. Then, inspect them carefully. If there are any damages whatsoever, that wasn’t there before the move then you can act upon it. And how will you know this? From the photos you have taken earlier, simply compare the photos with the items.

Packing

If you know you have packed everything in a good way, and you have made sure that the item is safe in the box, because you have used moving boxes Ontario then there is little to be worried about. The best thing to do is to pack important things that you care about on your own. Of course, you need to know how, and you need to have the right material:

This material is a must. However, when it comes to packing things like TV, or kitchen appliances, then you need to leave it to professionals. Keep in mind that your contract should state what are the options in the case that something gets damaged or broken by the mover. It all starts from there.

Putting a bad review is not revenge or anything, it is just your opinion and heads up for new potential clients. If you know for sure that something got broken not before the movers, not after, but while they were managing your items then you need to be determined to have your way. They need to own up their mistake and make sure to leave you happy with their service. From the moment you see that something is damaged or broken do not be quiet. File a complaint immediately, and no matter how long it takes, you need to be stubborn and persistent with this until the need. You have paid for their service as you made the agreement. They need to stick to their part of the agreement as well.

You need to be calm and focused on the day of the move. There are things that can go wrong. Movers can be late, something can get broken. What you need to do is to be in peace with that fact.  Moving day will pass and you will be sorry that you have let some things to upset you as much as they did.
